How to prepare for a virtual audit during the COVID-19 outbreak

In light of the COVID-19 outbreak, and in the interests of the safety of our customer and our staff, we have implemented an alternative audit procedure – a virtual audit process. This allows us to provide the audit service you expect without unnecessary risk to the people involved.

A virtual audit is just like the management systems element of our current audit products; however, it is carried out electronically through the use of a Skype or Microsoft Teams link sent by your Auditor. This link can also be shared with your colleagues who might be required to assist you during the audit process. Your Auditor will work his or her way through the audit protocol and ask you to share information on screen. When the audit is complete, we will upload the audit report onto the system, and you will have access to your report and certificate as you would normally.

We’ve been running virtual audits for several weeks now and we’ve had some great feedback so far:
