The introduction of GDPR on 25th May 2018 was just the start, rather than the finish line for any GDPR projects. There was never going to be a big bang – GDPR compliance isn’t a one-off thing and will continue to have a big impact on supply chains.

Following on from our blog post ‘Now the hype has died down – what does GDPR mean in the supply chain?‘ we’re hosting a free 1 hour webinar to share more about the complexity of GDPR compliance for procurement. Join our guest speaker, Sean Huggett, to learn how data controllers and processors can demonstrate that they comply with the law and are applying a continuous, risk led approach to data protection.

Why attend?

We are joined by an expert from one of our partners – Evalian – specialists in data protection, GDPR, ISO 27001 and information security.

Sean specialises in data protection, information risk and information security consulting. He is a qualified barrister, having been called to the Bar in 1998, and started his career as an in-house lawyer working in intellectual property, data protection and commercial contracts. He later progressed in to commercial leadership roles, working in a number of sectors before specialising in governance, risk and compliance with a focus on privacy and security.

His qualifications include IAPP CIPP-E, GDPR Practitioner Certificate, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor and CISMP.
