Last summer the UK government announced it’s plans to simplify energy and carbon reporting with the new Streamlined Energy Carbon Reporting (SECR) framework. The previous CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme ended in April 2019 as the government moved towards helping companies to improve energy productivity by 20% by 2030.

With new legislation coming into effect next April, we answer some of the common questions you may have about the Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reduction (SECR) and ESOS Phase 2 frameworks and how best to measure and reduce carbon footprint.

Why attend?

With the new Net Zero plans unveiled in June, understanding what is required and mandatory for UK businesses is becoming increasingly complex. Join the webinar to learn very practical tips and advice on what you need to measure, how and to what extent.

Join the experts:

  • Glenn Cargill – Lead Auditor for GHG, ISO50001 EnMS ISO90001 QMS, ISO140001 EMS & OHSAS with over 15 years’ and 2,500 man-days of audit experience, across 27 EA sector codes. Glenn is the Lead Auditor for our CEMARS greenhouse gas programme.
  • Damian Burton – is a specialists in compliance services (ESOS, Streamlined Energy & Carbon Reporting, CRC), carbon disclosure (CDP), energy management systems (ISO50001), carbon accounting and training. Damian is an ESOS Lead Assessor and Chartered Energy Manager

In the 1 hour session our team of carbon emission experts will cover all the basics of the new carbon reporting frameworks and some useful tips on how to navigate it.

During the session we’ll cover:

  • An overview of SECR and ESOS Phase 2
  • Help you to understand if you need to comply
  • If so, what do you need to do to comply
  • How we can help you in that process

The event is free to attend, but you must register beforehand to reserve your place.
