Achilles Information, the global leader and partner of choice for supply chain risk and performance management, has today announced a partnership with the Performance Review Institute (PRI), a leader in technical audits within the aerospace industry. Achilles and PRI will work together to help drive supply chain performance through the provision of technical scope-specific audits for the oil and gas industry.
This partnership with PRI will enable the expansion of Achilles’ audit provision. Together, Achilles and PRI will deliver a complete and independent evaluation of suppliers’ technical capabilities through rigorous independent technical audits performed by process experts.
The technical scope-specific audits, which are available to both buyers and suppliers, can cover heat treating, metallic materials manufacturing, non-destructive testing, surface enhancement and welding.
Jon Steffey, Director, Transportation and Power Generation Program at PRI will be discussing the cross-sector application of scope specific audits, including what the oil and gas industry can learn from the aerospace industry at the upcoming event, Achilles Connect: Oil and Gas Europe, on 19 February, in Aberdeen.
