Speakers

Natalia Pickett is the Head of Procurement at Keolis Amey Docklands. For the last 7 years Natalia has been overseeing the operating and maintenance franchise for Docklands Light Railway. Natalia has spent a large part of her career within procurement working in highly regulated markets for several blue chip companies including; Network Rail, Shell, Birdseye and Gilead. Natalia aims to bring procurement to a new level, building partnerships between internal clients and suppliers and to work collaboratively in order to implement best practice and innovative thinking.

Tom Jolly, is the Procurement Governance & Capability Manager at FirstGroup. As a member of the senior management team in the central procurement function, Tom supports the development of the central Procurement Strategy and leads the formation and delivery of an annual Functional Plan designed to realise this Strategy’s longer term objectives. Within the function Tom holds responsibility for procurement governance, processes and systems across both Bus and Rail divisions aiming to deliver continuous improvement in capability, instil best practice, address and reduce risk and continue to mature the procurement function.

Emma Alexander is the Head of Sustainability at FirstGroup. Emma leads the development and delivery of First Rail’s sustainability programme across its 4 train operating companies and 2 open access operators. Emma represents First Rail at industry groups to drive improvements in environmental and social performance and to develop an industry wide sustainable rail strategy.

David McLoughlin is currently the CEO of Business Daily Group and incorporates, RBD Publications, RBD Stride, RBD Advisory in addition to being an experienced rail and construction executive, a Chartered Management Accountant and a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He has more than 30 years’ commercial experience working with some of the best known construction companies in the UK holding high profile roles including Finance & Commercial Director for Network Rail’s Infrastructure Projects division, Chief Executive of The Spencer Group and Associate Director at KPMG and MD of the Utilities division of Amey.
