Ahead of the 13th annual GPCA Forum in November, Achilles Information announces it has been given associate membership of the GPCA (the Gulf Petrochemicals and Chemicals Association). Joining a prestigious list of member companies, this is a key development for Achilles in the Middle East, following a number of high profile business wins and further expansion of operations in the region.
Achilles Information is the global leader and partner of choice for supply chain risk and performance management. Parallel to the emergence of the Gulf region as a global chemicals production hub, GPCA is emerging to be the regional platform for knowledge sharing and best practices exchange among its members and with the regional and international stakeholders.
Achilles will bring to the GPCA the insights and expertise from 30 years’ industry experience, creating a powerful collaboration for the region and GPCA members.
Sharing networks and knowledge is at the core of Achilles. GPCA membership will enable Achilles’ data and insight to inform best practice and raise the profile of CSR and sustainability within the region’s supply chains, a key strategic focus for the GPCA.
Jay Katzen, CEO, Achilles Information commented:
“I am delighted that Achilles is joining the GPCA. Much of what the GPCA does, in terms of encouraging responsible business through collaboration and knowledge share, directly reflects Achilles’ core business values and I believe this will be a powerful partnership in the region.
“Rapid growth across the Middle East means that supply chains need to be robust and sustainable. In recent years, we have worked in partnership with customers across the region, and our insight and expertise ensure we can create supply chains that reflect best practice and can meet the unique demands of the region. I look forward to working with the GPCA and its members at this exciting time.”
