London, UK – June 2025 — Achilles, the global leader in supply chain risk and performance management, is proud to announce that Mobile Broadband Network Limited (MBNL) has selected Achilles as a key strategic partner to support the organisation’s infrastructure transformation and long-term asset management ambitions.
MBNL, the joint venture between BT Group and Three UK responsible for the UK’s mobile network infrastructure, is transforming how it operates and interacts with its supply chain ecosystem to fully establish itself as a high-performing strategic infrastructure manager. To underpin this shift, MBNL has chosen Achilles to validate and verify its extensive and complex supply chain ecosystem, ensuring suppliers are competent, compliant, and aligned with health and safety, ESG, and regulatory expectations. This will be achieved through the Achilles BuildingConfidence network, incorporating Common Assessment Standard (CAS) accreditation.
“As we move towards our vision of becoming an infrastructure organisation, we need complete visibility and confidence in our supply chain,” said Sally Sellers, Director of Quality, H&S & People, MBNL. “Partnering with Achilles allows us to raise the bar on supplier assurance and safety, and to establish a single source of truth for supplier data across our estate.”
By onboarding suppliers into the Achilles Network, MBNL will:
- Establish consistent supplier qualification and assurance that aligns to the Common Assessment Standard.
- Verify compliance and competence across safety and ESG domains.
- Reduce risk across the entire supplier base.
This partnership is a key milestone in MBNL’s transformation programme and supports their mission of enabling “Digital Britain” through resilient, safe, and future-ready infrastructure.
“We’re proud to support MBNL in this strategic shift,” said Katie Ferrier, UK MEA Regional Director, Achilles. “Validating the supply chain behind the UK’s mobile infrastructure is a responsibility we take seriously and one we’re equipped to deliver through robust, data-driven risk management.”
MBNL aims to have its entire supply chain incorporated into the Achilles platform by the end of 2025.
