Cushman & Wakefield, a global real estate services firm with more than 52,000 professionals and a presence in 60 countries, has entered into a partnership with Achilles with the aim of structuring its supplier approval process as a first step towards a more efficient, traceable model aligned with its strategic objectives.
In a first phase, Cushman & Wakefield will focus its efforts on structuring its supplier approval process with a focus on ESG assessment, as a basis for progressively moving towards more strategic objectives. For this evaluation, they will use the scoring performed by Achilles with the support of expert organizations in the field and consolidated in the scope of the working group of their large clients, who contributed with the vast knowledge of their Sustainability departments. In addition to covering with documentary evidence the three main pillars of sustainability, the scoring includes aspects of criminal compliance, cybersecurity and privacy, which give greater rigor to the model and provide the supplier with a report with aspects for improvement.
After evaluating different market options, the company has chosen to work with Achilles because of its proximity, professionalism and ability to adapt processes to the specific needs of each geography. The solution will make it possible to centralize critical supplier information, establish common approval criteria and lay the foundations for more organized and scalable risk management.
“For our Asset Services Department at Cushman & Wakefield, it is key to prioritize the implementation of tools that help us work in a more agile and professional way, focusing on digitalization, without losing the flexibility that our clients need. The collaboration with Achilles reinforces this commitment and allows us to move towards a more robust, efficient and prepared model to accompany our partners and clients with maximum confidence,” says Alberto Garcia, Head of Technical Services at Cushman & Wakefield.
“The fact that a large firm such as Cushman & Wakefield has placed its trust in us strengthens our commitment to tailored and close solutions, based on real knowledge of each sector and territory. We are very excited about the opportunity to be part of this new stage of improvement in their supply chain, in which we will support them to identify and reduce risks,” says Eva Lezcano, Regional Director for Southern Europe at Achilles.
