It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our Chief Executive Officer, Dr Paul Stanley, who died on 6 June 2025.
Paul Stanley was a visionary leader and a deeply respected colleague and friend. His commitment to sustainability, social justice, and human rights leaves a lasting legacy in our organisation and across the global risk management community.
Since joining Achilles in 2022, Paul guided the company through a period of transformative growth. Under his leadership, Achilles expanded through three acquisitions, replatformed its digital infrastructure, and launched AI-driven tools that are reshaping global risk management.
Paul will be remembered for his bold thinking, his unwavering principles, and his remarkable ability to inspire those around him.
Our thoughts are with Paul’s family, loved ones, and all who were fortunate to work with him. We are working closely with his family to honour their wishes and memory.
The Board has asked Craig Rodgerson, Achilles Chair to step in as interim Chief Executive Officer. He will lead the company through this difficult time, ensuring stability and continued delivery of our strategy.
Achilles remains committed to providing global risk management solutions to our customers worldwide and we are united in our grief and our determination to continue Paul’s legacy.
