Role at Achilles
As President and Board member, Luis’ role is to support Achilles GoSupply sales expansion globally. His responsibilities span the entire sales lifecycle, supporting sales executives from pipeline generation to demos and presentations, helping with proposals and final closing negotiations. Luis also supports Achilles regions with existing GoSupply account management, and promotes launching Achilles communities in new verticals. As a Board member, Luis brings his long experience with both Achilles and GoSupply models and solutions, and his deep knowledge of the supply chain risk management business.
Lessons from the past
Luis started Achilles in Spain more than 25 years ago, growing the business in South Europe and Latam, and has held numerous senior positions in Achilles including COO (living in the UK for 4 years) and Board member. After a period away, during which he founded GoSupply and invested in the retail real estate sector, he returned to Achilles following its acquisition of GoSupply. He is a qualified lawyer from ICADE.
Away from work
Based in Madrid with his wife, Carmen, Luis is a father of three grown up children. He is a history enthusiast and a reader, always keen to travel (recently visited her second daughter in Australia), and loves spending time in Santander (Spain) with family and friends. Luis is also an Atletico supporter (nobody’s perfect)
