Carbon Reduce 2023 conference will take place on 20 June in London and will provide strategic insights, best practice and lessons learnt from leading UK organisations to help sustainability leaders achieve carbon reduction goals and meet emission disclosure requirements.
ABINGDON, UK., 8 May 2023 – Achilles Information Ltd today announced the return of its Achilles Live Carbon Reduce Conference on 20 June 2023 at Kings Place in London N1. Carbon Reduce 2023 is free to attend for all UK business leaders interested in reducing their carbon footprint and meeting voluntary and regulatory requirements.
This year, Carbon Reduce will focus on cross-industry sessions providing real-world learnings from sustainability leaders, leveraging synergies and encouraging cross-sector engagement to help organisations realise their sustainability ambitions. As part of Achilles’ ongoing commitment to supporting organisations to meet increasingly stringent disclosure requirements, the event will also include important reporting updates from carbon audit experts.
“Carbon Reduce is one of our favourite events in the Achilles calendar because it’s an opportunity to connect with businesses taking practical and tangible steps towards achieving Net Zero,” said Ellis Hall, Achilles’ Head of Carbon Development. “This year’s event also includes a section where we recognise businesses that have made greatest progress and contributed to the overall success of our Carbon Reduce programme, which saved 97,000 tonnes of CO2 – equivalent to planting 4.8 million trees – in 2022 alone.
This year’s conference programme will include an opening address from Lord Rupert Redesdall, presentations from sustainability leaders from Anglian Water, Coventry Building Society, Lucy Electric and Morgan Sindell, and opportunities to engage with Achilles carbon reduction and ESG experts as well as other like-minded business leaders.
Space for this free in-person event is limited. Delegates are encouraged to register early secure a place online here.
