Last summer the UK government announced it’s plans to simplify energy and carbon reporting with the new Streamlined Energy Carbon Reporting (SECR) framework. The previous CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme ended in April 2019 as the government moved towards helping companies to improve energy productivity by 20% by 2030.

With new legislation coming into effect next April, we answer some of the common questions you may have about the Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reduction (SECR) and ESOS Phase 2 frameworks and how best to measure and reduce carbon footprint.
