Achilles was established in Norway in 1990, and our origins continue to influence how we operate today. Rooted in the values of Scandinavian society, our approach is shaped by Janteloven \u2014 the idea that the needs of the collective outweigh those of the individual. This principle sits at the heart of the Achilles model: collaborative, transparent, and designed for shared value creation.<\/p>\n

Originally created to help Norway\u2019s offshore oil and gas industry meet health and safety requirements more efficiently, Achilles introduced a network-based model that enabled buyers and suppliers to work from a shared set of standards and assessments. This reduced duplication, improved consistency of supplier data, and created a more reliable foundation not only for decision-making, but also for supplier development and improvement.<\/p>\n
