The Procurement Act 2023 now provides for the Competitive Flexible Procedure, where negotiation between the contracting authority and tenderers is permitted. This course will enable delegates to understand the practical process and different approached that may be undertaken to ensure the procurement rules are not violated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 id=\"h-why-attend\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why attend<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This course is designed to provide delegates with a practical approach to negotiation in the Public Sector via the Procurement Act 2023. Negotiation is a skill that demands the knowledge and application of effective negotiation theory and the use of the right tactics and techniques to deliver the best possible outcomes. The Procurement Act 2023 Legislation now provides for negotiation between the contracting authority and tenderers, however there are no prescribed negotiation process set out on the Procurement Act, this course will provide examples of best practice and compliant negotiation procedures . This course will enable delegates to understand the appropriate negotiation tendering procedures and the practical process that should be undertaken to ensure the procurement rules are not violated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 id=\"h-who-should-attend\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who should attend?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This course is intended for procurement practitioners, contract managers, finance and other operational stakeholders, who wish to understand how to negotiate compliantly and effectively in the public sector.
