We are working hard at Achilles to provide website services and products that are helpful to all our customers.<\/p>\n<p>We are aware of the types of adaptive technology used by people with disabilities and are currently working on redesigning pages to ensure compatibility with as many of these systems as possible. Changes include keeping text clear (italic fonts can be hard to read) and making sure links adequately describe where they go (\u2018click here\u2019 does not mean much in isolation).<\/p>\n<p>Not all browsers allow you to make changes to the way you view the page, but here are some tips for some simple changes you may be able to make.<\/p>\n<h2>Font type and size<\/h2>\n<p>For improved visibility you may be able to increase (or decrease) the size of text and alter the choice of font.<\/p>\n<h2>Internet Explorer Users<\/h2>\n<p>To alter the font size:<br \/>\nGo to \u2018View\u2019, choose \u2018Text Size\u2019 and select the appropriate font size e.g. larger.<\/p>\n<p>To alter the choice of font:<br \/>\nOpen your \u2018Internet Options\u2019 window by going to \u2018View\u2019 (or \u2018Tools\u2019 if you have it) and scrolling down.<\/p>\n<p>Under History, choose \u2018Fonts\u2019 and select your preferred style, then click \u2018OK\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Go to \u2018Accessibility\u2019 within \u2018Internet Options\u2019 and click on \u2018Ignore font styles\/font sizes specified on Web pages\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>When you click \u2018OK\u2019, this should ensure that the page you are viewing now appears with your specifications.<\/p>\n<h2>Colour of text and background<\/h2>\n<p>You may require specific colours in order to be able to view the site easily.<\/p>\n<h2>Internet Explorer Users<\/h2>\n<p>Go to \u2018Internet Options\u2019 (as above) and choose \u2018Colours\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>You can change text and background page colour as well as the colour in which links appear, then click \u2018OK\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Choose \u2018Accessibility\u2019 from within \u2018Internet Options\u2019 and click on \u2018Ignore colours specified on Web pages\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>When you click \u2018OK\u2019, this should ensure that the page you are viewing now appears with your specifications.<\/p>\n<h2>Adobe Acrobat Reader<\/h2>\n<p>Many documents on this website require Adobe Acrobat Reader for viewing.
