Achilles, a leading provider of supplier risk management services, is proud to announce that training courses for procurement professionals, both classroom and eLearning, have been accredited by Continual Professional Development (CPD) – the professional body for HR and people development.
Achilles has run training courses for procurement professionals for over 20 years – with a deep understanding of, and specialism in, Public Procurement Regulations.
After a rigorous assessment, CPD has awarded accreditation to Achilles’ courses. It means delegates on Achilles’ classroom and eLearning modules will now earn CPD points; helping to enhance their learning and development.
Amanda Rosewarne, Director of CPD Accreditation and Research, said, “The CPD Standards Office has a rigorous assessment process developed from multiple research projects and consultations with our Expert Advisory Board. Achilles Information has submitted various learning materials for assessment and has achieved CPD Standards accreditation, after demonstrating that their training activities adhere to best practice. The training they offer is engaging and delivers transferable and retainable skills as well as now being able to offer formal CPD points to all delegates.”
Fareita Udoh, Head of Achilles Consultancy & Training, said: “We recognise that our core customers across the public and private sectors utilise CPD points for their own employees’ development. Therefore, it is important for us to ensure that the time invested by individuals in attending one of our courses or completing an online module is recognised as part of their career development.”
