Lendlease are looking for contractors interested in working with them for the St. John's Quarter development in Manchester.
Lendlease have been appointed by Developer Allied London to develop the masterplan for the whole St. John’s Quarter scheme and to begin construction of the circa £300m+ of Commercial, Residential, Hotel buildings planned for the site. The scheme will be a mix of medium and high-rise Commercial and Residential blocks varying from 9 – 36 storeys.
The demolition and site clearance was completed by the end of 2018, and Piling for the double-storey basement began in January 2019. With clients and funding already in place, the main construction activity will begin summer 2019 on what is anticipated to be a 4yrs+ project.
An M&E framework has already been established, with Briggs&Forrester, SES, NGBailey and HESimm all being involved.

Lendlease are now looking for contractors who would be interested in working with them to deliver the rest of the many packages involved in such a complex city centre project.
BuildingConfidence accreditation will be required for any company awarded a contract on the project. Contractors who hold the accreditation prior to any tendering process will be required to submit less information as this is available through BuildingConfidence.
