Membership of the Club allows online data entry using a set of questionnires to calculate headline industry, housing specific and environment KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) at project level, and organisational data on a quarterly basis for the calculation of KPIs related to housing voids, repairs and respect for people.
Members have the option to select from four project-based questionnaires, so they can decide what they wish to measure. You can even collaborate on projects with supply chain partners – enter the data that you know and then delegate questionnaire sections to the other project participants for them to complete. The selected individual will receive an email letting them know that you have delegated a section to them. Once they have completed their data entry you will be sent an email asking you to agree or disagree – partnering on project data collection has never been so easy to accomplish.
The questionnaire also comes complete with validation rules to help you enter the right data first time and there is comprehensive context sensitive help available to help you understand some of the data requirements and definitions.
The Reports
The Housing Forum Benchmarking Club reporting tool allows you to create your own KPI reports as and when you need them and to your own requirements. These are produced using an online report generator that gives you complete flexibility and outputs the report in an Excel spreadsheet format. The reports can be generated automatically from all of your projects or just the projects you specify. This allows you to check the performance of any project or groups of projects in, for example, any location against national average scores.
The KPIs are structured so that they are available as your project progresses. Once you have moved from one project milestone to another you will immediately be able to see how you performed on that phase against the national average and immediately take action to perhaps improve the project in later phases. All of the KPIs are represented in graphical forms such as Radar charts, Bar charts and Trend lines for monthly data in a format that can be included in reports or other publications – just simply copy and paste or import the graphs into the package of your choice. Although the system formats the graphs for you, you can also apply your own style guidelines to suit your needs. You can also access the raw data, which makes up the KPIs for further manipulation into your own form.
