GMR Energy Limited, joins Jindal Power and CESC, as recent new members of APUG from India.
GMR Energy Limited (GEL), a 100% subsidiary of the GMR Group, is the biggest operational Independent Power Producer (IPP) in Karnataka as well as the first IPP in the state of Tamil Nadu. The company has a combined capacity of 800MW at present. GEL has several projects in the pipeline with over 2,500 MW capacities being developed in the next few years.
