Achilles, the leading supplier management services company, joined forces with key business leaders in the procurement field to host an interactive roundtable session on the topical issue of sustainable procurement at the latest Procurement Leaders Forum in Amsterdam.
The session, developed and facilitated by Achilles, encouraged participants to address the issue of sustainable procurement and to assess both the risks and opportunities it offers, alongside effective implementation in this changing economic climate.
The meeting was facilitated by Paul McNeillis, director of CSR for Achilles with the panel consisting of Arnie Bawden, Supply Chain Corporate Responsibility Manager from Telefonica O2, Kayzi Ambridge, Responsible Procurement Manager from EON.UK, and Peter Kvisgaard, Director of Procurement from Skanska who felt that the session offered “a great opportunity to discuss some of the most crucial challenges that we all have in our supply chain”.
