Achilles Supplier Management - our core solution

Achilles Supplier Management uses the power of our collaborative Community model to deliver a range of benefits to our buyer members and supplier subscribers. We collect, collate, verify and maintain pre-qualification information on key suppliers who participate in one of our online communities. The scope of pre-qualification is based on the common requirements of buyers within each community and typically includes information covering the following areas:

  • Company information
  • Financial
  • Legal
  • Environment
  • Quality
  • CSR
  • Products & Services

Validated supplier information

We use online qualification, validated 3rd party data feeds, and our team of accredited auditors to assess suppliers' capabilities and ensure compliance with legislative and corporate standards. As a participating buyer, you're able to access and review information from all suppliers subscribing to the communities you have membership of. A range of additional modules can be added to buyer programmes to further enhance your capabilities within the community solution.

A complete picture of supply chain risk

Achilles Total Supplier Management is our premium solution, offering all the benefits of Achilles Supplier Management and Community membership, but with additional elements to meet your specific supplier management needs:

A complete picture of supply chain risk

  • It provides you with a complete picture of supply chain risk, by validating information on
all your current suppliers in a central database (even if they choose not to join a Community)
as well as giving you access to other potential key suppliers registered in your Achilles Community.
  • The solution uses a supplier registration questionnaire specific to your company, to assess
and manage against the risk criteria or standards for your organisation. This buyer-specific
information is available exclusively to you through your Achilles Community online account.

Data can be linked into your existing supplier networks and back-office systems to ensure a seamless interface that streamlines your procurement processes.

Validate your suppliers' capabilities, competence and compliance

Achilles Audit and Assessment services undertake the physical validation of evidence regarding a supplier's capability, competence and compliance against agreed parameters. Audits are applied to selected suppliers following risk rules or criteria from individual buyer clients or those collectively approved by a community of buyers.

Both our Achilles Supplier Management and Achilles Total Supplier Management solutions may include the use of Audits to validate suppliers with the highest levels of business criticality (potential risk) and importance to your business.
