Demonstrate your company’s Health, Safety, Environment and Quality capabilities
Achilles Supply-Line Verify is an independent audit service which involves assessment of a firm’s Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ) systems. Achilles has offered Verify audits to the utility industry in the UK for over 7 years and is now launching the service in Ireland as a value added option to Supply-Line, the supplier management service used by key utility buyers in Ireland. The company also gets full access to the report and is provided with the opportunity to discuss their scores prior to final agreement. The final report and the improvement plan enable the buyers to see the full detail of the assessment.
The Supply-Line Verify audit provides your company with:
- Demonstrable SHEQ capabilities
- Practical advice and feedback
- Independent assessment and benchmarking
- Credibility in the market place
- Increased business opportunities
Where supplier verification and assessment is applicable for contracts of high operational risk, the Utility second stage pre-qualification scheme Supply-Line Verify applies.
By registering, suppliers and contractors will gain a clear understanding the industry’s requirements, the assessments generate detailed reports of the company’s capabilities that may be used both as an aid to sourcing for the utilities and as valuable guidance on improvements for the company being assessed.
There are different Supply-Line Verify categories tailored to the requirements of different types of organisations and the different types / categories of contracts:
B2 High-risk and on-site contracts
- A Verify assessor will visit your offices to evaluate your management system. The evaluation will then be followed by an assessment of the implementation of your management systems at a working site on a later day.
- The working site assessment will be annual, while the management systems evaluation will take place every 2 years. The fee is split evenly on an annual basis.
- Your company will be scored against set criteria and benchmarked against the industry average.
B1 Medium to high-risk contracts
- An assessment structure similar to category B2 but with a management system evaluation and site assessment normally completed in a single day
- The assessment is tailored to focus on the processes and procedures that apply to companies involved in medium to high-risk.
C Medium to high-risk contracts off-site
- A Verify assessor will visit your offices annually to evaluate your management system.
- Your company will be scored against set criteria and benchmarked against the industry average.
A Low risk contracts
- An annual paper-based assessment of your management system.
