achilles JQS for suppliers

criteria criteria

New Suppliers

The pre-qualification criteria being set  by the oil and gas companies   and that every company has to comply with in order to become a “pre-qualified” supplier are the following:

  • have implemented and documented a quality system in accordance with an international standard like EN ISO 9001-2000 series or corresponding standards. (Third-party certification is not required)
  • perform sales in his own name
  • state financial key figures
  • be up-to-date with the payment of imposed taxes and fees,
  • not be in debt-settlement proceedings or in any other respect be placed under public administration
  • have adhered to the legal requirements with regard to the submittal of last year's Annual report and Account to the appropriate authorities
  • offer products/services that are comprised by the system at the time of qualification
  • submit full application for qualification i.e. Achilles online questionnaire and supporting documentation.
  • enclose a copy of the company registration certificate (certificate of incorporation)
  • pay the annual fee of NOK 6.000 excl. VAT

The registration is valid for 12 months. Once Achilles receives the questionnaire (submit online!) and the additional documents/certificates and the payment, the verification (pre-qualification) starts. As soon as Achilles JQS team notices that the company complies with the criteria the company’s status changes from “registered” to “pre-qualified”. From this time the supplier profile is visible for the oil and gas companies.
