Achilles Central Europe
Three German public transport companies – in particular Rheinbahn (Düsseldorf), BOGESTRA (Bochum-Gelesenkirchener Straßenbahn) and üstra (Hannoversche Verkehrsbetriebe) – have come to the decision that Achilles develops and operates a tailored online supplier information and management system.
In several workshops the public transport companies and Achilles defined the requirements that all those organisations have in common (content of the supplier questionnaire, classifiation of products and services, mininum requirements etc.). We welcome every transport company in Germany, Eastern and Central Europe that is interested in joining this community. Please feel free to contact us.
Next to the operation of the online system Achilles will also execute the verification/ pre-qualification of suppliers on behalf of the transport companies. With this Achilles can support the buying organisations in minimising the risk in the supply chain.
connvenio, the new online supplier information and management system for the transport industry in Germany, Eastern and Central Europe, will be launched by the end of 2008.
