More than 30,000 suppliers, too, are currently registered on Achilles’ databases of pre-qualified suppliers.
Achilles Central Europe
The Central European region was founded in 2005 in Germany and the region has the highest growth rates in the Achilles Group. In 2007 the region was extended with an office in Slovakia. For 2008 a further three countries are planned. The customers are currently the utilities in Germany, Eastern and Central Europe: EnBW (Germany), Stadtwerke Kiel (Germany) und Slovenské elektráne / Enel (Slovakia). However, we are in close touch with other utilities.
In addition to that we are currently in discussion with public transport organisations and organisations operating in the rail sector. The aim is to implement and operate a tailored supplier information system - similar to Connexio that we operate on behalf of the above mentioned utilities - and to provide services for sustainable procurement.
