Achilles was first established to focus on the oil and gas sector. Since then, its vision has expanded to embrace the automotive, construction, information communications technology (ICT), food and beverage, mining, public sector, transport and utilities industries.
The services offered by Achilles are very flexible and lend themselves to adaptation – working with industry-wide steering groups – to just about any sector. In 2004, Achilles Australia and New Zealand began to work with the Utility sector to develop a service that would help it address its requirements in the field of supplier chain management, and that service has grown dramatically since. We now also provide services to the oil and gas industry.
The company continues to seek opportunities to expand its services across other industries, as well as to offer existing services in new geographical regions.
